Foggy mirror trick using cold water finally worked for me

Had a client who kept breathing heavy during neck shaves and my mirror was useless for 10 minutes. Tried wiping with a barber comb dipped in cold water instead of hot and the steam cleared right up, weird but it stuck. Anyone else got a quick fix for fogging that aint the antifog spray?
