Hot towel on every client? I think you're overdoing it

Overheard a young barber at the shop next door bragging that he wraps a hot towel on every single head, even the quick buzz cuts. I've been cutting for 12 years and I only break out the towel for straight razor work or a long facial trim. It adds 5 minutes per chair and for a guy who just wants a #2 fade, that's wasted time he could use for another walk-in. Am I the only one who thinks the hot towel is more about the show than the shave? How often do you actually reach for it?

Twelve years behind the chair and you know what works. That kid's just showing off for the mirror. Hot towel on a buzz cut is pure theater.
