Spent $80 on a hot towel cabinet, worst decision or best investment?
I grabbed one of those cheap heated towel cabinets for my shop in Phoenix and honestly, it's either the smartest thing I've bought or the biggest headache with the thermostat always acting up. For those who have one, do you stick with the budget model or is the $300+ commercial unit actually worth the jump?
Mine was around $90 from Amazon and the temp swings so bad I started keeping a meat thermometer in there just to check. The cheap ones seem fine until you actually need steady heat, then you're babysitting the dial all day. I'd say skip the $300 unit and just get a decent $150 one with a real thermostat, the jump from junk to okay is worth way more than the jump from okay to fancy.
