Wasted $150 on a clipper that said 'professional grade' at a beauty supply shop in Phoenix last month

That thing couldn't even cut through a week of growth without pulling, and now I'm stuck using my old Wahl while I save up for a real one from a proper barber supplier - anyone else get burned by those shiny boxes at the beauty store?

My buddy Jake grabbed one of those last spring at the local flea market, thought he found a steal. Two days later the strap snapped clean off while he was just walking to his car, no heavy gear or anything. He spent another forty bucks getting it fixed at a shoe repair shop and still swears it was a ripoff.
