Bought a $7 voice recorder at a flea market in Tulsa, now it runs my grocery runs
I grabbed a beat up Olympus VN-4100 at a flea market in Tulsa about two months ago because the seller said it still recorded and I had 7 bucks in my pocket. I started using it to talk out my grocery list while I walk my route, then I'd play it back in the store instead of squinting at my phone. The thing has 2 buttons and a slide switch, and somehow I'm using it more than apps I paid for. The battery still shows full after six weeks on the same pair of AAAs. Has anyone found a cheap digital recorder that survives being dropped in a mail satchel, or should I just buy three more of these things?
Buddy of mine had one of those cheap Sonys rattling around in his bike bag for a year and it still worked fine, screen was scratched to hell though. For 7 bucks honestly just grab three more, worst case you lose one and you're out less than a lunch.
