Thought those $8 clip-on fisheye lenses for phones were a total scam until my nephew proved me wrong
I'm a landscaper and use my phone to snap pics of jobs for clients, so when my nephew handed me a $8 clip-on fisheye lens from a gas station in Reno last summer I laughed at it. But I clipped it on my old Pixel 4a and the pics of this curved paver walkway came out way sharper than I expected, no blurry edges at all. I've kept it in my truck for about 6 months now and it still works fine even after sitting in the heat. Has anyone tried those cheap macro clip-ons too, or are those the ones that actually fall apart?
