Had to pick between a offset smoker and a pellet grill last year
I went back and forth for like two months, finally grabbed a used offset from a guy on Craigslist in Austin for $200. First brisket took 14 hours and I almost passed out tending the fire, but that smoke ring was the best I've ever seen. Anyone else regret going the traditional route or am I just crazy?
