Tripped over my extension cord at a competition and it changed my whole setup

I was at the Memphis in May competition last year and my cooler full of ribs was right next to my pit. As I was basting, I caught my foot on a power cord running to my electric smoker and almost face planted into the grease bucket. After that, I started using those rubber cable ramps to lay my cords flat and keep them out of walkways. Has anyone else had a close call with their cord setup at a cookoff?

Tripped over my own smoker hose at a backyard cookout and spilled a whole tray of sauce on the grass lol.
