I finally caught the typo in my SQL join after 3 days of blaming the data
Been debugging a report for work all week, turned out I was using LEFT JOIN when I needed INNER JOIN, what tipped me off was a coworker asking why my numbers doubled in the June totals, has anyone else had a moment where the fix was way simpler than the problem felt?

Blame the data all you want, but databases have zero mercy for bad joins. I once spent a whole Friday convinced our warehouse was sending ghost shipments, turns out I forgot to filter out cancelled orders with one dumb WHERE line. The real kicker is when you tell the team "found it" and they just nod like they knew all along.
