PSA: One piece of feedback from a client killed my "more is better" design habit
A client told me "your layouts are too cluttered" back in March and it stung but they were right. I cut my usual element count from 12 to 5 per page and my conversion rates jumped 30%. Has anyone else had a harsh critique that actually fixed a blind spot?

Yeah I used to cram everything in there too but this makes a lot of sense.

Wait, you actually crammed everything into one big container too? I did that with my camping gear last summer and ended up with a broke tent pole and a smashed stove. The whole system just turned into this giant tangled mess. Sorry to sound shocked but I didn't think anyone else made that same rookie mistake.
