Shoutout to plain text notes over fancy apps for keeping track of links
I used to save my favorite link of the week in a fancy bookmark app with tags and colors, but last Tuesday I switched to a plain text file on my desktop after losing a great article about deep sea creatures when the app crashed. The text file opened instantly, never asked me to sign in, and worked offline on my old laptop in Denver. Why do we keep downloading apps for stuff a notepad can do better?

Yes!! Notepad wins every time, no login, no crash.
