Spent 4 hours debugging a CSS issue that was just a missing semicolon in my stylesheet

I was pulling my hair out over a layout that kept breaking on mobile until I found the typo at line 312, has anyone else wasted a whole evening on something that dumb?

I started using a linter that catches missing semicolons before they hit the browser. VS Code with the CSS validator plugin shows the error right in the editor so you don't even have to save to see it. Sometimes a simple save and refresh catches it too but those invisible missing semicolons are the worst.
