Accidentally recorded a demo on a toy Casio keyboard and it became my best song

I was messing around in my garage last month, bored out of my mind, and grabbed my kid's old Casio SA-76 that cost like 30 bucks at a thrift store. I plugged it into my interface just for laughs, started hitting random drum machine buttons, and the whole thing sounded like a broken robot having a seizure. But I laid down a quick beat and a bass line on it anyway. Next day I listened back and realized the cheap, tinny sound actually made the track feel raw and funky. I ended up keeping the whole thing and building a song around it. Has anyone else accidentally stumbled onto a sound from a junky piece of gear that just worked?

3 toy keys and a Casio from Kmart still beats my acoustic piano for pure joy.
