Almost bought a $60 lo-fi pedal last month, then my buddy's $15 tape deck blew it away
The pedal gave me this fake crackle that sounded like a snare sample on a ringtone, but the real tape wobble made my whole drum loop feel like it was melting in a good way. Anyone else ditch a plugin once they heard the real thing?

That "melting in a good way" thing is why plugins always lose me too.
