Heard a Casio keyboard demo at a Goodwill in Reno and it had a broken drum loop that I now use every day
I was killing time in a Goodwill in Reno last Tuesday when some kid pressed the demo button on a beat up Casio SA-76 and the snare pattern was skipping every fourth hit. I stood there for like 10 minutes because that broken loop had this weird off kilter groove that no real drum machine would ever give you. Does anyone know how to recreate a skipping snare like that on purpose, or should I just hunt down broken keyboards?
