Paid $25 for a "vintage drum machine pack" on Bandcamp and every loop is the same preset with different names

I grabbed a pack last month called Drumatix Gold Vol 3 because the demo track had this crunchy 808 that sounded like it was recorded off a cassette in somebody's basement. Turns out all 40 loops are the exact same pattern, just renamed stuff like "CRUNCHY", "GRIMEY", and "DIRTY" with the tempo nudged by 2 bpm, and I only noticed after dragging 12 of them into my DAW and hearing the same kick over and over. Did I just get unlucky with this seller or is the whole "lofi drum pack" thing on there mostly recycled presets with fancy names?
