Back in middle school I used to burn CDs of my favorite songs and play them on a portable player, but now I dig up those terrible mono ringtones from 2004 because the crunchy drums and clipped bass just hit different. That cheap 8-bit keyboard solo at the 40 second mark? Pure gold. Anyone else got an old flip phone ringtone they still hum more than the real song?
