TIL my snare sounds like a wet cardboard box because a drummer in Fresno asked one question
Played him my demo at a gas station and he asked if I tuned the bottom head or just the top one, which I didn't know was a thing. Cranked the bottom lugs up about a quarter turn each and now my worst beat actually slaps instead of thuds. Anybody else learn basic kit upkeep from a total stranger in a parking lot?
