TIL the Casio SK-1 sampling keyboard demo song is a masterpiece of garbage
A buddy handed me his old SK-1 and I almost tossed it in the goodwill pile, since the built-in demo tune sounded like a toy drowning. Then I actually listened to the whole thing on my porch in Boise and realized the off-key choir patch and the drum fill that lands half a beat late are the whole reason it works. I picked keeping it over selling it for $40 on marketplace, and now I loop that demo every Sunday morning while I drink coffee. The weird part is my wife hums it now. What's the worst factory demo track you secretly love?
