Called BS on tubeless sealant snake oil, now I'm a convert

I spent 8 years using tubes and thought tubeless was just hype for road bikes. Finally tried it 3 months ago on my commuter after getting 4 flats in 2 weeks on a nasty stretch of road. Picked up a Stan's kit for about $45 and set up my old wheels. Haven't had a single flat since day one, even after rolling over some glass shards. The sealant just does its job and I barely think about tire pressure anymore. Has anyone else had that moment where they finally gave in and it paid off?

@janaf91 I was so stubborn I probably would have patched a tube with a dog leash and called it a win lol

Ugh tell me about it lol. I was the same way with tubeless on my mtb for years. Thought it was just another way for bike shops to upsell me. But after I got a gash from a sharp rock that no tube could fix, I caved. Now I run tubeless on everything and even patched a hole with a cut up piece of a dog leash once while on a ride. Total game changer honestly.
