Warning: snapped a rear derailleur hanger on a customer's Warbird during a test ride in Fort Collins and had to decide whether to own it or blame the drivetrain
The hanger was already bent from a prior drop and I felt it flex on the second shift, so I stopped, called the guy and said I'd cover the $28 replacement while half my crew said I should've never test ridden it at all, so which side are you on?
