Can we talk about dropping a show after 2 seasons and never looking back?

I used to force myself through every series I started, even the boring ones, because I felt like I owed it to the story. Last month I quit The Leftovers mid-season 2 with zero guilt, and honestly it's been freeing. Has anyone else just walked away from a hyped show without finishing it, and do you regret it or feel lighter?
