Totally feel you on this one, it makes a huge difference. Having a show going turns cooking from a boring task into something I actually want to do. I'm glad I'm not the only one who figured this out.

Alright, so I used to think I had to have absolute quiet and focus for cooking, like it was some serious task or something. But I started doing the same thing, just throwing on a show on my phone while I'm in the kitchen, and it COMPLETELY changed my mind. It makes the whole process way less of a chore, honestly. Now I look forward to cooking just so I can catch up on episodes. I'm totally with your friend on this one.
