My power went out right at the big twist in a show and I lost my mind

I was in my living room in Denver last night, totally glued to the finale of 'The Last of Us'. The scene where Joel makes his choice was about to start, and my whole screen just went black. A summer storm knocked out the power for my whole block for like 45 minutes. I spent the whole time pacing, trying to avoid spoilers on my phone. I finally got it back on and just restarted the whole episode because I needed the full vibe. Anyone else have a binge session totally wrecked by something dumb like that?

Ever have a power outage ruin a movie so bad you just stare at the blank screen? My old apartment's wiring was so bad the fridge kicking on would trip the breaker. Lost the end of a murder mystery once and had to just guess who did it. I spent a week convinced it was the wrong character.

My college dorm had one outlet that would kill the TV if you used the microwave. @troykim, I feel your pain on missing the ending. I still don't know how a certain heist movie actually finished because of that.
