The 2x speed button saved my brain from binge rot
Haha yeah I do the same thing with slow dramas. I set it to 1.25x for most shows and it cuts out like 20 minutes per episode. My wife thinks I'm insane but she's the one who falls asleep during the courtroom scenes.

Yeah the "she falls asleep" part got me. That's my wife with any movie that has a plot that takes more than 5 minutes to explain. But honestly I think we're all just training our brains to need faster everything now. I caught myself trying to skip past the loading screen on a video game the other day. It's like our attention spans got rewired by YouTube videos and TikTok, so now a normal paced TV show feels like watching paint dry.
