Unpopular opinion: I was in a coffee shop in Seattle and overheard two people arguing about whether you should watch a new show's episodes weekly or wait and binge the whole season at once.

One guy said weekly drops build hype and let you talk about each episode, but the other said the full season drop is the only way to get the true, immersive experience the creators intended, so what do you all think is better?

Man, I’m totally torn on this. Binging a whole season in a weekend is amazing for getting lost in the story, like with that last sci-fi show I watched. But waiting weekly for something like Severance made every episode feel like a huge event to talk about with friends. I miss that shared excitement sometimes when everything drops at once. It’s a real tough call.

You're right about the weekly wait building hype, but Severance actually had a two episode premiere. That initial drop gave us enough to dig into before the weekly schedule started. It's a smart middle ground that gets people hooked right away.
