Bookmarked a weird "how to speak backwards" site and actually learned something

I saved this bizarre bookmark years ago from some old forum where a guy claimed reversing your speech would improve your forward speaking. Last week I actually tried it for 10 minutes and caught myself tripping over words way less in a work meeting. Anyone else have a random bookmark that turned out to be secretly useful?

Did you have to repeat phrases a lot or just talk normally into a recorder? I've got a similar bookmark from a linguistics forum about "auditory feedback loops" and it actually helped me stop mumbling. The trick is to record yourself reading a paragraph, rewind it, and then try to mimic the reversed version out loud. It forces your brain to process sounds differently and breaks those lazy speech habits. Took me about three sessions before I noticed my words coming out clearer in real conversations. Just be careful not to do it before a meeting though, that reverse playback can stick in your head for an hour.

Reverse playback in your head before a meeting? That's when you accidentally start talking like a demon.
