Clicked a bookmark from 2012 and it was a live webcam of a Swedish bird feeder
I was cleaning out my browser bookmarks this morning and found one labeled 'birb cam' from back in college. Against all odds, I clicked it and it actually loaded a live stream of a bird feeder in Stockholm. Some guy in the chat told me the webcam has been running continuously for 13 years. Has anyone else stumbled upon an old bookmark that still works after all this time?

Tell me more about the bird feeder itself... was it just a basic platform or one of those fancy ones with the glass sides so you can see the seeds inside? I'm curious if the camera's been moved around over the years or if it's just been locked on the same exact spot for over a decade.

Think you got it backwards honestly. The glass sided ones are overrated because they fog up and glare in the sun, so you miss half the action. This feeder was just a basic wooden platform with a roof, nothing fancy, but that's what made the footage so raw and real over the years. Camera never moved either, which is actually kind of impressive when you think about how much wildlife must have gotten used to it being there. Wouldn't a fixed camera give you a better baseline to compare changes in bird behavior over time?
