Dug through my bookmark graveyard and had to choose between a 2007 arrowhead identification guide or a 2013 beekeeping fail blog

Ran into a weird bookmark cleanup this morning, like 2 AM kind of thing, and I had two old links sitting side by side. One was this massive arrowhead ID site from 2007 with 400 photos of flint chips, and the other was a beekeeping blog that documented every hive collapse with angry rants about mites. I only had time to save one to my new folder, so I picked the arrowhead one because at least the photos load without popups. Then I clicked a random arrowhead entry and it redirected me to a crypto scam page with a fake countdown timer. The beekeeping one probably still works fine, but now I cant go check it because I already deleted the bookmark and the whole folder is gone. Anyone else trying to tidy up bookmarks and losing the good weird stuff to broken links?

Three hours of bookmark hoarding down the drain because you clicked one sketchy arrowhead link? That's on you, not the internet. The real tragedy is you had a beekeeping fail blog with angry mite rants and you chose flint chips. Those are the kind of posts that make you feel better about your own bad decisions. Also, you "deleted the whole folder" like it was a hot potato, but bookmarks don't work that way. You just tap undo or check your trash. Worst case, you type 'old beekeeping fail blog' into Google and find something even weirder from 2009. The crypto scam probably did you a favor, honestly.
