Pro tip: that 'Cascade of Doom' fishing video from 2018 vs the same spot in 2024
I found this bookmark from 2018 of a guy hauling in huge trout at this one spot on the Klamath River. Fast forward to a video I saved last month of the exact same stretch of water, and it's basically a trickle with barely any fish. The difference is crazy, like night and day over just 6 years. What do you think caused it more, the drought or all the dam removal projects? I talked to a local guide last week who said it's 70% drought, but online folks blame the dams being gone. Has anyone else watched old fishing videos and seen a spot totally transform?

Wait, a six year difference turned a solid fishing hole into a trickle? That's wild, I feel like I'd need to see it to believe it.
