That cat breeding calculator bookmark turned out to be a scam
I had this bookmark for a feline genetics predictor from some random 2008 site, thought it was just a fun toy for my barn cats. Then last month I used it to plan a litter and the health issues that showed up in the kittens were exactly what it said they'd be, down to the deaf white male. Anyone else ever trust a weird old bookmark and get burned or blessed by it?

Well, I learned that lesson the hard way with my own breeding setup years ago. That old calculator probably saved you from a lot of heartache, because those recessive genes for deafness and white coats are no joke. If it worked once, I'd write down the predictions for every litter from now on and just use it as a heads-up, not a guarantee.
