That guy on Reddit who said to clear my DNS cache was 100% right.
I had a weird bookmark for a site about Victorian cat photography that would not load for three weeks, and after flushing the DNS it opened instantly, so has anyone else had a random bookmark stop working for no obvious reason?

My friend had a cooking blog vanish for weeks till she did the same thing.

Wait what if it's not just Google punishing them but some kind of weird algorithmic shadowban that only kicks in when you don't post for a while? I mean I've seen people talk about how Google tracks your posting schedule and if you miss too many days they just drop you from search results entirely. Maybe it's like a penalty for being inconsistent rather than a penalty for thin content or whatever. Idk it would explain why the blog came back right after she posted again. Could be they're trying to force people to post more often by making the algorithm punishing when you take a break.
