3 years of saying party games were not real games, then a Tuesday at Dave's place in Portland flipped me
We ran 6 rounds of Just One with 8 people and I have not laughed that hard at a table since my old D&D group broke up in 2019. Anyone got a party game that actually holds up after the 10th play, or do they all wear out?
Hold on, 8 people for Just One? That is a lot for that game. We tried it with 7 at my buddy Ryan's place in Austin and the clue giving got so messy that two rounds ended in total guesses with zero points. Honestly I always heard the sweet spot was 3 to 6 players, so I am kinda shocked it worked so well with a full 8. Once you get past 10 plays though, the same words start coming up and people remember the good clues, which kills the fun a bit. Have you tried bumping the player count down or adding a house rule where you cannot reuse a clue from a past game?
