Checked out the new game cafe in Springfield and saw something cool
I was at The Dice Cup last weekend, a spot that just opened downtown. They have this whole wall dedicated to local board game clubs and their event schedules. One group had a sign-up sheet for a 12-hour 'campaign day' next month, playing through a full legacy game in one go. The owner told me they already have 15 people signed up, which seems like a lot for a new place. It got me thinking about how these cafes are becoming real hubs for the hardcore crowd, not just casual players. Has anyone else seen their local spot start hosting these marathon sessions?
