Honestly, I used to just shove all my board game pieces back in the box after a session. Then my friend's copy of Scythe got ruined because a token bent in the lid. Now I bag everything separately and it takes an extra 10 minutes, but my stuff stays mint.

Got a specific system for sorting the bags?

Seems like a lot of work for some cardboard. My old copies are a bit worn but they still play fine.

Your mileage may vary on that one. Keeping sleeves and boxes clean with proper sorting makes a huge difference if you ever want to resell or trade. A little wear is fine, but once those edges start fraying it's hard to tell if a card is played or just beat up. Plus, organized bags save time when you're digging through a stack trying to find something specific.
