Pro tip: using a dice tray actually cut my game setup time in half

I was always knocking pieces off the table during Catan so I grabbed a $10 felt tray from Amazon and now I spend way less time hunting for missing sheep under the couch, anyone else find a cheap fix that changed their game night?

Oh actually Catan has sheep not dice so your tray is probably more for the resource cards or something. I got a similar $10 one from a local game store and it stopped my partner from absent-mindedly stacking drinks on the edge of the board. The edges are a lifesaver for keeping everything contained.

$10 dice tray here too. I got one with raised edges so the dice actually stay put. It also stopped my wife from using the board as a drink coaster.
