Question about getting a group to actually start playing Gloomhaven

Honestly, we spent 45 minutes just on setup and rules last week, so I tried printing a one-page 'first mission' cheat sheet. Ngl, it got us playing in under ten minutes, anyone else have a trick for this?

My group spent the first session just reading the monster ability cards out loud. Felt like a bad audiobook. Your cheat sheet idea is solid, beats watching someone flip through the rulebook for the tenth time.
