Serious question, did the learn to play night at Guardian Games in Portland actually fix my rule reading?
Went to the learn to play night at Guardian Games in Portland back in March just to get out of the house. The teacher ran us through a full game of Wingspan and stopped me 3 times for stuff I had been playing wrong for years, like how the end of round goals actually score. Turns out I had been shorting myself points on egg capacity since I bought my copy. Now I reread the rulebook out loud before teaching anyone new, which my group finds annoying but hey. What rules did you find out you had backwards only after someone showed you in person?
