Shoutout to the guy who told me to stop over-sleeving my card decks

I was at a local con last Saturday watching someone fumble with a 400-sleeve deck that kept sliding off the table, and i realized i was that guy at my last game night. My Terraforming Mars deck was so thick it barely fit in the box and my friend snapped at me for taking 5 minutes just to shuffle. Has anyone else had that moment where your deck protection actually ruins the flow of the game?

Whoa, I actually just read a board game blog that said double sleeving is only worth it if you're playing high-stakes poker or antique cards. Did your friend make you unsleeve mid-game?

Double sleeving's pretty extra unless you play with drinks near the table.
