Why does nobody talk about sorting tokens before your first game with new players
I always laughed at my buddy Rick for spending 20 minutes before game night putting every little cardboard token into separate baggies. I figured we could just dump the punchboard pieces in a pile and dig through them as we played. Last Friday we ran a 5 player game of Wingspan with two people who had never played before, and the digging turned into a mess. Someone grabbed the wrong bonus tile three times, and we lost 15 minutes just sorting through the pile on the table. Rick pulled out his sorted plano box, set it down, and we were playing in 4 minutes. Now I want to know how everyone else handles this. Do you sort by game or by token type, and does anyone have a cheap box that actually holds up?
