Bought a $220 respirator for confined space work, best money I ever spent on gear

Was doing a job inside an old boiler drum near Gary, Indiana last month. My old half mask was fogging up bad and I kept having to stop every 20 minutes to wipe it down. Decided to finally get a proper supplied air setup with the built in lens. That first day I could actually see what I was doing the whole time and didn't feel like I was drowning in my own sweat. The crew thinks I'm crazy for dropping that much on one respirator but after a full shift inside a drum that still smells like sulfur and rust, I have zero regrets. Has anyone else made the jump to a nicer respirator or supplied air unit, or am I just spoiled now?
