Switched from chalk lines to a laser level on big tanks, zero regrets
Used to spend a good 45 minutes snapping chalk lines on a 30-foot shell in Gary, Indiana, then redo half of them when the wind blew the dust off. Got a green beam laser last month and laid out the same seam marks in under 10 minutes, has anyone else made that jump and found the battery dies faster than you expect?

Do you keep spare batteries in your truck, or is the green beam actually lasting longer than people warned you about? Because I've heard mixed stuff on that, some guys say the greens chew through cells like crazy. Curious if the time savings still hold up when you're swapping batteries mid-layout.
