Got so tired of my endpapers bubbling up no matter how slow I dried them...

Finally tried using a tiny bit of PVA mixed with methyl cellulose on a test piece, and it laid flat after drying overnight. Anyone else have a go-to mix for stubborn paper?

Methyl cellulose alone always works for me.

Well, lucky you, I guess the rest of us are just overcomplicating things.

My endpapers used to bubble up like a bad science fair volcano project. I tried everything short of holding them down with a stack of library books. Finally caved and mixed a drop of PVA into my methyl cellulose paste, like adding a secret ingredient to a recipe. Now they dry flat and I feel like I cracked a code everyone else knew.
