Watching that old pro demo his method with a fresh scalpel at the Rose City Bindery last Saturday finally made the beveling click for me - anyone else have a lightbulb moment from just watching someone work?

Read somewhere that surgeons say the light hitting the blade is like their version of a camera flash going off. Locks the whole moment in your head forever.
