Overheard a guy at the Columbus book fair call hand-sewing 'too slow to bother with'
He said this while holding a $60 machine-sewn journal with a cracked spine, and it got me wondering if speed is quietly killing the craft, so I'm curious, how many of you still hand-sew your signatures over a machine?

Sounds like a stretch to read that much into one guy's hot take at a book fair. Plenty of us still sew by hand and nobody's stopping us.
