Picked linen thread over waxed cord for my first Coptic stitch and it held up great
I couldn't decide between black linen thread and waxed cotton cord for the spine on a 120 page journal I bound for my sister's birthday last Saturday. Went with the linen since the cord looked too chunky for the small signatures, and it stitched up clean with no slipping. Anyone got a reason to switch to cord for thicker sections, or is linen fine for most stuff?
