Pro tip: check your glue pot temperature before you start...

Last week I ruined a full set of 1890s Shakespeare boards because my PVA was 15 degrees too hot, and the delamination didn't show up until I had already trimmed the text block, has anyone else had a batch fail from heat like that?

Stopped me dead in my tracks reading that. A full set of 1890s Shakespeare boards gone because of fifteen degrees? That's heartbreaking. I've had PVA act weird on me before but never had it ruin a whole book like that. You must have felt sick when you saw the delamination after all that work trimming. I check my temp with a laser gun now cause I'm paranoid about it, but I honestly didn't think a small difference could cause total failure like that.

Is it really that serious though? I mean @barnes.morgan that sucks but idk, I've been sloppy with temp before and never seen total delamination like that.
