That cheap bone folder I swore would break is still going strong after 6 months
I picked up a $5 bone folder off a clearance table at a craft store in Denver, figuring it was just a cheap plastic knockoff. Honestly I brought it home expecting it to snap on my first hinge repair or something. But I've used it almost every day for folding, creasing leather, even burnishing some delicate endpapers and it hasn't cracked or warped at all. It flexes a little but holds up way better than my expensive bamboo one did. Has anyone else found a random no-name tool that just works?

Bro same here. I grabbed a random brown bone folder off a resale table at a local paper show for like 2 bucks, figured it was just a cheap giveaway. Ended up using it for nearly a year straight, folding cardstock and creasing book cloth, and it still looks barely used. My expensive nylon one cracked in like two weeks, but this walmart cheapo just won't die. It's wild how the no-name stuff sometimes outlasts the brand name gear.
