Found a site that's just photos of empty parking lots in Ohio
I was stuck waiting for a delivery pickup near Akron last week and stumbled on this weird page called 'Empty Parking Lots of the Rust Belt.' It's got like 200 photos of asphalt and faded lines, nothing else. No cars, no people, just gray concrete and weeds growing through cracks. The guy who made it probably spent months driving around with a camera. I scrolled through half of them before I realized I was wasting 15 minutes. It's so boring it's almost impressive. Has anyone else found a site that's this pointless but weirdly addictive?

Those hyper-specific niche sites always pull me in too, and I've noticed it's usually the most mundane stuff that sticks with me the longest. There's something calming about seeing a familiar place stripped of all the noise and people, like your brain gets a little reset. Maybe we're all just starved for stillness in a world that won't shut up.

Man I totally get that feeling. Something about seeing those empty lots with the weeds and cracked pavement just hits different, like you're seeing the bones of a place without all the busy stuff covering it up. It's weirdly peaceful.
