TIL a county website archives every zoning variance since 1987
Was digging for a property line dispute near Tulsa and fell into their public records portal. Three hours later I was reading about a 1994 chicken coop variance for a guy named Earl. Anyone else get sucked into municipal archives for no reason?

My neighbor once spent a whole weekend down that rabbit hole and ended up finding a 1989 permit for a neighbor's illegal trampoline. Now he brings it up at every block party.
